It does not replace school instruction, school attendance, homework responsibility, or the student\u2019s own effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Where the student is under 18 years old, the person booking or accepting tutoring services confirms that they are the student\u2019s legal parent or guardian, or that they have the necessary authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By booking tutoring services, the parent or guardian gives permission for the student to receive tutoring from The Wihan Method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method will provide professional academic support, lesson preparation, feedback, and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, no specific marks, grades, test results, school outcomes, or academic improvements are guaranteed. The student\u2019s progress depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, practice, schoolwork, and preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tutoring fees will be confirmed before services begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unless otherwise agreed in writing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Payment is due immediately after each tutoring session by EFT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Late payments may result in tutoring services being suspended until the account is up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A late payment penalty of R15 per week overdue<\/strong> may be charged on unpaid amounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method reserves the right to refuse further lessons where payment remains outstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parents or guardians must provide at least 24 hours\u2019 notice<\/strong> to cancel or reschedule a session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours\u2019 notice may be charged in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Missed sessions without notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If The Wihan Method cancels a session, the session will either be rescheduled or not charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students are expected to arrive on time and be ready for the lesson. Late arrival may result in a shorter lesson, and the full lesson fee may still apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students are expected to participate respectfully and without unnecessary disruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method reserves the right to stop a session if the student\u2019s behaviour is inappropriate, disrespectful, disruptive, unsafe, or prevents the lesson from continuing properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Repeated misconduct may result in tutoring services being suspended or terminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method will not complete assignments, projects, tests, exams, or schoolwork on behalf of the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tutoring support is provided to help the student understand the work, improve their skills, and develop confidence. It is not a substitute for the student\u2019s own work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The parent or guardian agrees to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ensure the student attends lessons on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ensure the student has the necessary books, notes, stationery, device, internet connection, or materials needed for the lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Make payment on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Communicate any relevant academic concerns, learning needs, or scheduling issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ensure that the student completes any practice work or revision tasks given by the tutor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method agrees to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prepare and provide tutoring lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Support the student\u2019s understanding of the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Provide feedback where appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treat the student and family with respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Keep personal information confidential, unless disclosure is required by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Provide tutoring services in a professional and responsible manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For online lessons, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the student has a suitable device, working internet connection, and quiet learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method is not responsible for technical issues outside its control, including internet failure, load shedding, device problems, software issues, or platform interruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If an online lesson cannot continue due to technical problems, The Wihan Method may decide, at its discretion, whether to reschedule the lesson, continue later, or charge for the time already spent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For in-person lessons, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the learning environment is safe and appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method is not responsible for the student\u2019s personal safety outside the agreed tutoring session time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The parent or guardian remains responsible for the student before and after the lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event of an emergency during a tutoring session where the parent or guardian cannot be contacted, the parent or guardian authorises The Wihan Method to seek immediate medical assistance for the student if reasonably necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for any related medical or emergency costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent or guardian before seeking medical assistance where possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wihan Method may collect and process personal information such as names, contact details, student grade, school-related information, lesson progress, scheduling details, and payment information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This information is collected and used for purposes such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Providing tutoring
